Terms and Conditions
At Swiss-grocery all orders are sent in plain packaging.
GOODS AND SERVICES CATALOGUE
Swiss-grocery is located at Avenue de Tivoli 19 bis - 1007 Lausanne - Switzerland - we sell a range of goods and services from our online catalogue and website.
ORDERS
Customers can choose from a range of goods and services outlined in our online catalogue. They then fill out an online order form using instructions provided on our website; the order form is then transmitted to our Swiss-grocery office.
Photos are non-contractual because of light differences of luminosity which could distort the color.
PRICES
The prices of all products and services are those which appear on the website at the time of ordering. All prices are net prices which include VAT. Any delivery costs incurred will be clearly stated both in the total to be paid and at the moment the order is confirmed. Swiss-grocery reserves the right to cancel orders in the event of a pricing error; the customer will be fully reimbursed for any payments made for the cancelled order.
The prices displayed on our website are indicated in CHF, all Swiss taxes included (Swiss VAT and other applicable taxes) and excluding postage.
For the orders and deliveries out of Switzerland the invoiced price will be taxless. The customs of the consigneed country or the carrier will invoice the tax on added value, the customs formality and the possible customs duties.
DELIVERY COSTS
Standard postal rates will be applied in the final order card according to the delivery country.
Shipping costs are offered for Switzerland.
Small order fees are charged for orders less than or equal to 100 CHF.
When the carrier takes charge of a package, the delivery costs are automatically determined by their online service. Please refer to the prices displayed when creating your order.
Orders delivered outside Switzerland are exempt from Swiss taxes during the finalization of your purchase.
Warning :
VAT, customs duties, customs formalities and all costs related to delivery are the responsibility of the customer.
Swiss-grocery delivers all its parcels with a receipt of purchase specifying the ordered articles as well as their selling price.
If the customs administration of the customer's country of delivery requests specific documents for the import, these must be requested before the parcel is sent. In no event will Swiss-grocery be held responsible if an import can not be made for lack of necessary documents.
The customer must ensure that the items ordered are authorized in the country of delivery; if an import is refused by the customs administration of the customer's delivery country, the customer assumes full responsibility and the costs related to this refusal.
Swiss-grocery disclaims any responsibility for the legality of the products sold in the customer's country of delivery because the customer certifies having first checked the customs instructions of his country.
DELIVERY TIMES
All parcels are sent by recorded mail and you will be required to sign for your parcel. The deadlines below are respected if all the products are in stock, if necessary an additional delay is necessary according to the reactivitie of our suppliers.
Post
Standard delivery: also called PostPac Economy, guarantees delivery in Switzerland in 2 working days (dispatched to postal service day today, delivered the day after tomorrow).
Delivery time varies per country.
We reserve the right to use alternative delivery methods to those stated here as long as the same prices and delays are applied as those stated here.
IMPORTANT
Swiss-grocery undertake to send the goods in the best delays but can’t be responsable if the delivery is to late.
For all products instock the parcel will be sent in the 24 worked hours after reception of payment, for the goods not in stock the delivery would be made after their receipt from our supplier.

PostFinance proposes a payment system by credit card secured at 100% (Visa, Mastercard, AmericanExpress and Postcard). All your banking data are immediately crypted with the3D PostFinance protocol. We have never access to your banking data.
PayPal

The amount of your order must be payed in advance on our account (longer treatment) . The order are dispatched after reception of your payment.

THEFT OR LOSS OF PACELS
In the event of the theft or loss of your order, you are insured according the general conditions of the carrier.
DAMAGED PARCELS
If, on receiving your parcel, you can see that it has been damaged in transit or opened, it is important that you notify the delivery person who will provide you with a document for the purpose of declaring the problem. Without this document Swiss-grocery is not able to take the necessary action with the postal service, it is therefore imperative for the customer to obtain it.
Any damage during transport must be reported by email within 7 days of receipt of the package. If this deadline is not respected, no claim can be made.
DISCRETION AND CONFIDENTIALITY
All personal data is treated as confidential and will not be passed onto or used by another company. We do not send any junk mail.
AVAILABILITY
Swiss-grocery does its utmost to provide satisfaction to our customers and to supply you with the complete range of goods and services we advertise. Swiss-grocery however reserve the right to refuse orders and cannot be responsible for delays in transit or either temporary or permanent lack of availability of products.
CANCELLATION AND RETURNS
We aim to provide total satisfaction for our customers for the full range of our products.For reasons of hygiene, food and drinks are not included. Products on sale are neither returned nor exchanged.
In accordance with the legislation concerning distance sales and online sales, customers may return any article within 7 days of delivery; customers will be reimbursed for the total order amount. The above only applies to intact and unused goods in their original packaging. Delivery fees and banking charges, which amount to 4% of total price, are to be paid by the customer. If any of the above conditions are not met, no reimbursement can be provided. If an order is canceled before the parcel is sent, the collection costs of 4% will be withheld from the refund.
For item positions containing more than 6 identical pieces, no cancellation or refund is possible.
We also reserve the right to a partial refund for the time caused by the repackaging of the goods.
Shipments of exchanged products are only free for shipment within Switzerland; if we have to send the exchanged product outside of Switzerland, you will be asked to pay the shipping costs in advance.
FAULTY GOODS
Upon receiving your order check all goods. Should you notice any faults please do the following;
Send an email to [email protected] citing the number of your order, your name and address and telling us what the issue is with the goods. Initially we will do our best to resolve the situation by email (75% of cases are resolved in this manner).
If it is not possible to sort things out through email we will ask you to send us back the goods plus any chargers and original box to an address provided by Marina; we will also ask you to print out and send a copy of the email correspondence had with Marina. Above all sends, please be sure that we sent you a prior consent.
If the returned item is not in original packaging or missing an element in the original box (charger, manual, bag, etc.), the product can not be returned or exchanged.
If the goods are found to be faulty we will credit you with Swiss-grocery points to the value of the cost of return post using the PostPac Economy pricing. If a product turns out not to be faulty, the cost of return postage remains met by the customer; we will send you an invoice with the BVR payable in advance and upon receiving payment, your goods will be returned to you.
GARANTEE
The guaranty allowed by Swiss-grocery is the same as the manufacturer’s one.
FORCE MAJEURE (circumstances beyond one’s control)
We cannot be held responsible for circumstances beyond our control such as strike, fire, natural disaters, etc. This list is not exhaustive.
DATA RIGHTS
Customers have the right to access and delete data which concerns them. The use of cookies is applied only to gather information regarding our product references and any information about goods and services ordered is completely randomized.
LEGAL ACTION
Terms and conditions in French only, shall apply in the event of litigation.
In the case of any legal action, relevant parties will be under the jurisdiction of the Tribunal de Commerce du canton de Vaud in Switzerland.
